Since her split from ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, Emily Ratajkowski’s love life has saturated headlines, linking the model, best-selling author and entrepreneur to Harry Styles, Eric André, Pete Davidson and more. Now, the High Low with EmRata podcast host is opening up about the idea of dating women.
In a new interview conducted over Instagram DM with HommeGirls, Ratajkowski was asked if she would ever date a woman. “I would love to,” she said, adding that she is just “waiting for the right one to come along.”
“I’ve always been someone who’s more attracted to vibe than specifics of physicality, so sometimes it’ll just randomly hit me and I’ll be like, ‘Whoa I’m attracted to this person,'” Ratajkowski explained, naming Megan Thee Stallion as an ultimate beauty.
Last October, Ratajkowski appeared to have come out as bisexual in a TikTok video. A voiceover says, “If you identify as bisexual…do you own a green velvet couch?” The model then panned the camera over to her own green velvet couch with a smirk on her face.

After splitting from Bear-McClard last September, Ratajkowski said, “This is the first time I’ve ever been single in my life. I’m proud of myself.” The Inamorata founder went on to say that the “younger version of myself” would have likely settled for “some mid dude” just so that she could have a boyfriend. “Glad I’m not in that era anymore,” she added.
With her dating life in the spotlight, Ratajkowski wrote that while she would “def love more privacy,” but she hates when “celebrities complain about the lack thereof. It’s definitely just part of the game. And I live in N.Y.C. which makes my life much less private. But I have always wanted to live in New York! And I love it.” However, she said when “people hate on my dating life, it’s just uncool.”
“Let me live,” she said. “I’ve been through some s**t. I want to have some fun sometimes.”
When asked how she meets her dating prospects, Ratajkowski revealed, “I’ve only gone on one date from an app but it was with someone who I also had mutual friends with. I’m really open to meeting people whatever way! But I do think mutuals is always a nice way to vet people.”
