Emily Ratajkowski knows the value of an impactful street style moment. On Thursday, the model, best-selling author, podcast host, entrepreneur and former actress stepped out for lunch in New York City, wearing a graphic-print dress reminiscent of one of Carrie Bradshaw’s most memorable ensembles.

Ratajkowski was seen wearing the Karina dress from Miaou, featuring a slinky, backless halterneck silhouette, revealing a bit of side boob. The black-and-white dress featured landscape imagery of a large house in the mountains and traffic signs with the message “Signal Ahead.” There was also the “Miaou” logo painted across the dress, which hugged Ratajkowski’s figure and flowed into an asymmetrical hem at the knee.

The My Body writer teamed her ensemble with camel-colored knee-high leather high-heeled boots and carried a black Miu Miu Nappa leather pocket bag. Ratajkowski accessorized with a pair of gold hoop earrings and dark narrow sunglasses to complete the look.

The Gone Girl actress wore her brunette strands down and straightened with a middle-part and blunt bangs.

The ensemble called to mind the Christian Dior newspaper dress designed by John Galliano that Sarah Jessica Parker wore while portraying television’s ultimate fashionista Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City original series. (Bradshaw also wore it in Sex and the City 2.)

This actually isn’t the first time Ratajkowski has channeled Bradshaw’s Dior moment. The model attended a New York Fashion Week party last September wearing an iteration of the famed John Galliano newspaper-print min dress, and paired it with a black trench, a black Fendi handbag (also a Carrie Bradshaw wardrobe staple) and zebra-printed knee-high boots for the ultimate style statement.
