Emily Ratajkowski for Inamorata (Credit: Instagram @inamoratawoman)

If anyone knows her way around a steamy swimsuit snapshot, it’s Emily Ratajkowski. The founder of swimwear and intimates line Inamorata, Ratajkowski celebrated her recent collaboration with fashion label Mirror Palais with a sultry photo shoot, modeling a black bikini from the capsule collection.

“So grateful to our @inamoratawoman and @mirrorpalais teams and everyone who has ordered! I’m so excited to see y’all in these pieces,” she captioned the carousel.

Ratajkowski posed in a bed of white linens, in a window-lined room surrounded by lush greenery during her visit to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The My Body author wore a black triangle top and a thong bottom, both embellished with silver charms of suns, crosses, dolphins, hearts and shells, and accessorized the look with a silver circular pendant necklace.

The set, dubbed the Guaraná, is available in black, cream and red.

Founded in 2017, Ratajkowski has grown Inamorata from just swimsuits, to a full array of ready-to-wear, plus lingerie, hats, earrings and heels.

Mirror Palais was founded by Marcelo Gaia in 2019 and has since become a favorite among celebrities and the everyday cool girl. The sustainable womenswear brand made its NYFW debut this past September at the Church of Ascension. According to the brand, “Gaia’s swim pieces are reflective of his Brazilian heritage – a kaleidoscopic flurry of ’80s-inspired neon prints contrasting with softer ditsy florals.” Pulling inspiration from his Brazilian roots and his New York upbringing, Gaia mixes it all with his love for vintage relics and silhouettes, updated for the modern woman.

Ratajkowski detailed the early days of the collab in an Instagram caption, writing, “When @marcelogaia and I started talking about what we wanted to make for the @mirrorpalais x @inamoratawoman collection, he immediately knew he wanted to bring me to Brazil.”

She continued, “Even though my trip to Rio was quick, I fell in love completely. Thank you, Marcelo, for taking me to your favorite city and introducing me to your mama’s culture. I can’t wait to come back and I can’t wait for you all to see what we cooked up. 5.26 (this set might be my favorite).”

Mirror Palais also shared the news with a beach pic of Gaia and Ratajkowski. “Growing up in New York so far away from my family in Brazil, I’ve always longed for a deeper connection to my culture,” Gaia wrote. “My mom spoke Portuguese at home, would take us to churrasco with friends in Astoria and play Chico Buarque de Holanda & Rita Lee on the weekends while we cleaned the house, but we didn’t get to visit often because we couldn’t afford to.”

He continued, “Since starting Mirror Palais I’ve been fortunate to spend more time in my mother’s country and connect with my family/make new friends. I have a deep admiration and respect for Emily and am so honored to share a piece of this beautiful culture with her, and her first caipirinha de maracujá. I hope you guys love this collection we designed together as much as we do. Thank you to both the Mirror Palais and Inamorata teams for bringing our vision to life. 🤍🇧🇷.”

The collab dropped on May 26. Snag these pieces as soon as you can because they’re bound to sell out fast.
