Two downtown New York mainstays are launching a collaboration and the It girls are SHAKING. Mirror Palais and The M Jewelers are coming together and delivering a collection that is serving vintage, gothic-cool realness.

Created by Marcelo Gaia in 2019, Mirror Palais has become a favorite among celebrities and the everyday cool girl. The sustainable womenswear brand made its NYFW debut this past September at the Church of Ascension. I sat in those pews watching the heavenly clothes saunter down the runway and thought to myself “Yup, I want to be that girl.” Gaia pulls inspiration from his Brazilian heritage, his New York upbringing and mixes it all with his love for vintage relics.

Like Gaia, Mark Shami of The M Jewelers considers New York City a major part of the brand’s DNA. Founded in 2013, The M jewelers was born in the heart of the Diamond District and continues to produce and operate out of New York City. Known for the brand’s cool custom gold and silver pieces The M Jewelers has quickly become one of the biggest jewelry brands in North America.

This collaboration is a perfect fit for both designers and their customers, it also doesn’t hurt that they’ve been close friends for years. The collection, which is adorned in religious motifs and dark undertones, features three chokers and two necklaces. Prices range from $125-$350.
