Let’s rewind: it’s 2015, Gigi Hadid’s name brings up images of Joe Jonas; Huda Beauty only just launched in the US; Avengers: Age of Ultron is in cinemas; and Kylie Jenner’s pout has been the subject of much journalism for months. There are papped snaps of her lips everywhere you look, and she’s in her peak wig era. She said she liked MAC Cosmetics’s “Velvet Teddy” lip colour and now all Velvet Teddy formulas are always sold out. Nobody quite knows if Kylie’s had lip fillers or not, but we want whatever she’s having, please and thank you.

Then, precisely three Kylie Lip Kits launch. Chaos ensues. People swarm the direct-to-consumer website. Everything is sold out within 30 seconds. The Lip Kits start popping up on eBay for well over Dhs450, despite the original Dhs85 price tag. There are but four emotions in the air: excitement, then sheer panic, then either smugness at your Lip Kit-buying abilities, or disappointment at your lack thereof.

“I am excited to launch Kylie Cosmetics in the Middle East online at Namshi to allow a new audience of consumers to shop and experience my products.” – Kylie Jenner

Fast-forward to 2023, and it’s all much more civilised. Kylie Lip Kits has been renamed to the now legendary Kylie Cosmetics, and those three OG kits are accompanied by hundreds of other products. Kylie’s even expanded her high-performance portfolio to include Kylie Skin and Kylie Baby, and we’ve been blessed with countless limited-edition collabs with other celebs. The site doesn’t crash every two seconds, and everything’s actually in stock. All’s right with the world.

And it gets better, because Kylie Cosmetics is finally landing in the Middle East for the first ever time. Launching exclusively at Namshi, we no longer have to search for dupes, and can instead shop Kylie Jenner’s recently revamped vegan and cruelty-free formulas with speedy ME shipping to boot.

Speaking of the launch, Kylie said, “I am excited to launch Kylie Cosmetics in the Middle East online at Namshi to allow a new audience of consumers to shop and experience my products.”

Manav Lovia stated on behalf of Namshi: “Namshi is proud to be the go-to platform for exciting beauty brands in the region. We are thrilled to welcome Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner to Namshi’s extensive portfolio of exciting beauty brands.
