If you’ve been following up on 2022 trend predictions, you’ll know that Dopamine Dressing is slated to take over style and fashion. The latest celebrity to try out this trend, and look great doing it, is Tracee Ellis Ross, who has had not one, but three looks that feature a bright yellow dress and some bright Bottega green — a lesson in the versatility of dopamine dressing to spark some joy during this gray winter.

Of course, she doesn’t need a special occasion to dress well, as Ross is naturally stylish, but an appearance on Good Morning America doesn’t hurt. In this look, Ross is pictured wearing a bright, Bottega green suit from, you guessed it, Bottega Veneta. All of her recent looks have been styled by Karla Welch, who has previously worked with celebrities like Justin Bieber and Anita Hill.

And then we see a transition from bright green to sunshine yellow, yet another staple in the color rolodex of dopamine dressing. For a simple Instagram post, Ross posed in a sunflower-colored Galvan London dress, matched with bright yellow pumps that made her a vision of summer from head to toe.

Most recently, Ross appeared on last night’s Late Night With Seth Meyers wearing yet another bright yellow dress. This time, the dress was from Proenza Schouler‘s SS22 ready-to-wear collection.

This particular dress featured fringe on the bottom half of the garment, contrasted against the solid color blocking of the mid-length sleeve top.

In a sea of grays, beiges and neutral tones, Ross is a daring example of how much wearing bright, bold colors can pay off, and we’re watching her as a fashion figure to watch in the future, because she seems to be killing it with every single look.
