The social media app, best known for its viral dance crazes and intriguing beauty tutorials, has not so subtly developed a community of fashion-forward users called #fashiontok. Responsible for popularizing trends like Tenniscore, Y2K, and cottagecore among more niche aesthetics like clowncore and kidcore TikTok content creators have certainly earned their seat at the trendsetting table.
Not only have these content creators given us some serious style inspo URL, but they’ve also equally been active IRL in the industry. Last fashion week season, we caught up with Wisdom Kaye, TikTok’s best-dressed man, on the front row of the Coach Spring-Summer 2022 show. Kaye, who is now signed with IMG, has worked with luxury brands Balmain and Dior after only starting his fashion TikTok career a year ago.
