Zendaya, Eileen Gu, Amanda Seyfried, and Simu Liu were just some of the A-list names to celebrate the 2022 TIME100 Gala at Lincoln Center in New York on Wednesday evening, and everyone brought their high-fashion A-game for the important occasion.
Counted among the most influential artists, innovators, titans, leaders, icons, and pioneers of the year, the honorees and attendees came dressed to impress in vintage finds, embellished looks and bold suits.
This year, the publication’s esteemed list of artists includes the likes of Zendaya, Seyfried, Pete Davidson, Abbott Elementary‘s Quinta Brunson, Ariana DeBose and many more. The night featured a performance from 100 list honoree musician Miranda Lambert and a speech from President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Zendaya in Bob Mackie
Stylist Law Roach was granted exclusive access to the Bob Mackie archives for Zendaya at TIME100 and chose this “vintage teal, and turquoise silk faille, emerald velvet strapless couture ball gown,” from the designer’s Fall/Winter 1998 collection. Adding to her string of vintage style moments, the star wore her hair straightened and parted down the middle for a sleek, polished effect.

Olympic Gold medalist Eileen Gu arrived in a sleek, red strapless column gown for the event. Opting for jewelry from Tiffany & Co., Gu wore her hair down in flowing waves.
Ariana DeBose in Oscar de la Renta
Styled by the trusty duo Zadrian Smith and Sarah Edmiston, Academy Award-winning actress Ariana DeBose shined in a shimmering floral Oscar de la Renta gown, featuring a high neckline and a thigh-high slit. The West Side Story star had her edgy bob styled by Takisha Sturdivant-Drew and her smokey eye makeup done by Andréa Tiller.

Amanda Seyfried attended the TIME100 Gala in a black Carolina Herrera high-low gown, styled by Elizabeth Stewart. Her classic Old Hollywood glamor came courtesy of makeup artist Genevieve Herr and hairstylist Renato Campora. The Dropout star accessorized with a custom necklace by Catherine Sarr of the fine jeweler Almasika, featuring ethically sourced De Beers diamonds in support of the #BlackisBrilliant campaign, meant to amplify Black voices and representation on international red carpets.
