Sydney Sweeney always knows how to get people talking when she hits a red carpet. She consistently brings the sparkle and glam (as seen with her Canneseries look), and sometimes shows off two different looks in one night (you may remember her gown transformation at the 2022 Met Gala). On Sunday, she sent fans buzzing on social media once again, thanks to her Miu Miu moment at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
The Euphoria star stepped out in an ultra low-rise custom Miu Miu mini skirt that was covered in pink embellishments, with a slit and two buckles on the side. She teamed it with a matching sparkly bra top, which peeked out from under her cropped collared button-down shirt that put her abs on full display. Stylist Molly Dickson finished the look with a pair of high-shine platforms with studded heels.
Just when we thought we’ve seen the last of the mini Miu Miu skirt (you may remember the khaki look that everyone wore last season — and we mean everyone), the star is embracing that early aughts aesthetic by bringing back the daring, low-rise look.
Sweeney has rocked other memorable Miu Miu moments (including at the season 2 Euphoria premiere), and in early May, she starred in the brand’s new ads for the Miu Wander bag. In fact, she’s really been racking up the fashion campaigns lately. Just last week, she starred in a campaign for the French fashion label, Jacquemus, modeling on a white motorcycle in Hawaii. Days later, she put her automotive skills to work for Tory Burch, wearing the brand’s signature Miller sandals in a new video, while cruising in (and fixing up) her convertible.
The star was nominated for Best Performance in a Show for her role in Euphoria at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards. Her costar Zendaya took home the win in the category, but considering how much buzz her pink mini moment is getting, looks like Sweeney’s still going home a winner too.
