When Wimbledon returns every year for a balmy British summer there are just a few women we have high on our Google alerts. While the competition heats up on the perfectly groomed grass courts, we tend to turn our attention to the the lauded sports ground for celebrity spotting and, more importantly, exactly what they’re wearing. It’s well-known that players must adhere to a strict all-white dress code but for spectators there is no official guide. Of course when you’re in company of London’s elite — including the Royal family — you tend to follow by example. Example A: Sienna Miller.

The English actress is known to frequent the 14-day event each year and with a knack for chic pared-back dressing (think Glastonbury 2022) it comes as no surprise that she unofficially earned best dressed of the day. On day seven, she attended a thrilling match with rumored beau Oli Green and wore an off-the-shoulder lace midi dress and snake print heels from Ralph Lauren. She paired her ensemble with a chunky black belt, round sunglasses and a perfect red lip — which she would later go on to ruin with some PDA.

The return of boho was not the only reason Miller garnered headlines. She was captured sitting just in front of Alexa Chung and ex-boyfriend Tom Sturridge who took part in their very own, very public affection. Chung, ever the sartorial palette cleanser, wore a white blazer and vest paired with tailored shorts for the Ralph Lauren-sponsored soirée.

The unspoken all-white theme — at least for guests — continued with the arrival of English actress Lashana Lynch who was also a guest of Ralph Lauren. She opted for a crochet slip dress underneath a white blazer, paired with sneakers, a bucket bag and vibrant orange lip. In 2021 she grew to stardom as the first ever Black 007 in the James Bond franchise.
