Sitting down with the co-founder of BeautyUnited, Moj Mahdara, Anderson wore an oversized white dress shirt, partially unbuttoned with a popped collar and rolled-up sleeves. The Pamela: a love story star teamed her look with matching white high-waisted tailored pleated trousers and cream-colored braided slide sandals.
Anderson kept her makeup minimal and styled her iconic peroxide-treated platinum tresses down, curled at the ends.
Insider executives and beauty and wellness entrepreneurs gathered for the exclusive invite-only event. The Frankies Bikinis collaborator told Mahdara, “This really is the best time of my life.”
After the release of her new tell-all Netflix documentary and her cathartic, debut memoir, Anderson has returned to the limelight, on her own terms. “I’ve kind of been though a lot. I think everybody has. And I learned over time, I wanted to take control.”
The actress and activist headlined the event with Grammy-winning musician John Legend. Anderson broke down the beauty of compassion and brand building during the panel before hosting her own Business of Fashion dinner.
