When it comes to fashion, Meghan Markle has the midas touch. Tailored and refined, the Duchess of Sussex has always been able to blend her sophisticated style with her signature relaxed Cali-girl flair.

This year has been a big one for the Sussex’s. In August, Markle released her podcast Archetypes, unpacking the problematic tropes that hold women back where she interviewed stars like Mariah Carey and Serena Williams.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also released their bombshell Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, providing never-before-seen insight into the couple’s personal life behind closed doors. In addition to many other revelations, Markle explained why her style changed after she left her role as a working Royal in March 2020.

She stepped out for plenty of events too, including the 2022 Invictus Games in the Netherlands in April, and they traveled to Germany to announce that the games will be held in Düsseldorf next year.

From her bright red Another Tomorrow set at the One Young World summit, to her pure white Valentino oversized suit at the Invictus Games, Meghan Markle’s unique brand of personal style is always on point.

Below, GRAZIA USA examines Markle’s best ensembles from 2022, from pristinely tailored business casual to exemplary evening wear.
