Lafayette 148 New York opened the doors to its first boutique in Beverly Hills, smack dab in the city center of fashion, design and art. The luxury womenswear brand struck gold in Cali, landing in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods within a premiere shopping strip known as the “Golden Triangle.”

Located at 9533 Brighton Way, the new retail store represents Lafayette 148’s chic Soho, New York roots while emphasizing a design-led commitment towards its future, with the help of the brand’s creative director since 2002, Emily Smith.

The New York label recently debuted the new 2,267 square-feet store filled with luxe ready-to-wear pieces, as well as footwear, handbags, jewelry and accessories. Fans will find favorites like the highly coveted Lafayette 148 Made in Italy accessories collection.

Imbuing the store’s interior design with Lafayette 148’s signature effortless femininity, its industrial foundation organically blends with the brand’s flawless construction of the garments, creating a modern-rustic ambiance.

Not only is the location packed with expertly-crafted garments, but it’s also brimming with decorative elements commissioned by the brand from New York-based and local California artists.

In the entrance, visitors will see an artisan-made custom-finished round table crafted from repurposed gypsum and travertine for a sustainable stone-like finish. The luxury label drew inspiration from its heritage design codes, taking the L from its logo and incorporating it in embossed wallpaper throughout the boutique.
