When Kennedy Eurich got the call that she would be not only attending but sitting front row at Louis Vuitton’s Women’s Cruise 2023 Collection presentation in Dallas on November 15, she thought she was getting scammed.

“I thought, ‘They invited the wrong girl!’ It was definitely crazy,” the 22-year-old exclusively tells GRAZIA USA of the surreal experience. “I went with it, but I only had a week to pick out my outfit and everything, but it was amazing. I am still in shock that I was extended an invite!”

“I think my first ever designer handbag was Louis Vuitton that my mom got me for graduation,” she adds. “That alone was very special to me because Louis Vuitton is such a classic designer brand. I feel like it’s so many people’s first designer bag. I feel like I’m such a normal gal, so it shocked me that I’d be invited. I don’t see myself as this huge fashion influencer, so to get an invite from such a prestigious brand was crazy.”

According to Eurich, the event, which took place at a museum in Dallas, Texas, was “so beautifully done.”

“I’d never been to that big of a fashion show before. I felt like I was in the Devil Wears Prada! I was amazed by everything going on,” she notes.

Growing up, the star always “loved attention,” which is why she focused on making YouTube videos. “I remember editing them and posting them because I loved filming myself,” she recalls. “In high school, some of the girls on my lacrosse team would tell me I needed to start a YouTube channel because of the way I tell stories, but then TikTok came around and became this huge platform in 2019 and 2020 — right around when quarantine hit. I was like, ‘I am going to start filming videos of myself,’ and it became a diary for myself. I talked about things that were going on in my life, essentially.”

However, Eurich admits she wasn’t speaking to anyone. “When you start out on social media, you don’t immediately have a following,” she points out. “I was talking to probably five followers and telling them about my day or random stories that nobody was essentially seeing. But somehow those videos started getting views. At one point, I was like, ‘Is this going to be a full-time job for me at some point?’ I wasn’t expecting to turn it into a career. You know it’s possible, but I wasn’t expecting to get this far.”

Fortunately, Eurich attracted a slew of people, despite not having a niche. “I’m so thankful that all these random videos that I curated created such a unique audience, and I think that’s one of things I love and appreciate now that it’s my full-time job. I don’t have to focus on one thing,” she says. “I built a community of girls that are like me, and I think they relate to me because I’m very attainable. I was literally living at my house in Pennsylvania when I started my TikTok channel. People see themselves in me and they think, ‘If she can do it, I can do it.'”

Though being a social media personality comes with its ups and downs, Eurich takes it all in stride. “Sometimes people will say things, and I am like, ‘Woah, we don’t even know each other. That was offensive.’ But it’s been great to be able to post a video and have people call me out on my BS. I love getting those comments sometimes. It’s good to have a community that knows me so well. The most insane part for me is having people know me — even at bars, people come up to me. All these girls I meet always say, ‘I feel like I know you, I feel like we’re friends already.’ That’s super special.”

Eurich, who is bubbly and full of energy during our chat, has won the hearts of a total of 1.6 million social followers through her authentic and viral videos — and she’s predicted to the next Emma Chamberlain by TikTok’s coveted PR guru Girlbosstown.

“To me, that seems unattainable to ever be in the same category as her,” she confesses. “She’s definitely a huge inspiration to me. It’s insane that I would even be compared to her — or that our names are in the same sentence. I’m just amazed that people would compare me to her.”

Though Eurich has since become a famous internet personality, she states that part of her life “has changed so much, but I also say it doesn’t feel like anything has changed at all. I still sit in my house, play with my animals, go get coffee,” she says.

At the end of the day, Eurich wants to inspire young women specifically. “I like this idea of letting girls know they can be whoever they want to be,” she declares. “When I first started social media, people have this idea of how a girl should be and how a girl should act. I swear I’m not always looking my best, but sometime I can. I want to tell young girls to really be yourself.”

As for how Eurich has gotten to be so confident, she says, “I was born this way — that’s what I tell everyone. I was born with the sense of, ‘Let’s get it going.’ This has been me my entire life, and it’s no different now that I am on social media. I think starting on social media has humbled me in a lot of ways. It kind of taught me to fake it until you make it.”

In the meantime, Eurich is looking forward to starting her own company, which she is currently in the process of doing. “It will be a luxury pet company. Animals are a huge part of life and eventually I would like to get a couple of different companies going,” she says. “I want to focus on things I’m passionate about. I’d love to wake up every morning, post whatever I want to post and then have some type of business to run.”
