Barbiecore has been one of the most talked-about trends of the summer (along with Coastal Grandmother, of course). And there’s no surprise why. It’s bubbly, vibrant, and playful, everything we need in fashion right now. Not to mention the upcoming film Barbie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling might have a little to do with it.
Two weeks ago, Hailey Bieber put the trend to the test, sharing a few photos modeling a bubblegum pink Versace corset mini dress from the Italian fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection on Instagram.
Now it looks like her hubby Justin Bieber is picking up some style inspo from his wife and giving the Barbiecore trend a try.
The 28-year-old singer shared a few snaps and videos on his Instagram sporting a very Barbiecore-esque look, while marking his return to the stage in Helsinki after announcing he has Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.
Bieber gave the well-known Mattel doll’s favorite color his signature hypebeast treatment by wearing a pink tank top layered with a white zip-up hoodie (neither of which stayed on through the entire performance) and matching pants. For accessories, he wore an XL pearl necklace in the same shades, Nike gloves in hot pink, and his signature white snapback.
