Do we have our first hot new couple of 2021?
Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde sent the internet on fire when photos of the two of them holding hands at a wedding over the weekend emerged, sparking dating rumors.
According to Page Six, the 26-year-old former One Direction member and the 36-year-old actress attended the nuptials of the musician’s agent the at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif. In the revealing snaps, obtained by the outlet, the “Watermelon Sugar” singer is seen wearing a black suit with a white button-up shirt and Western-style black bow tie from Gucci’s Spring 2021 collection, walking hand-in-hand with the House star, who donned a boho-inspired floor-length floral gown from Gucci’s Resort 2021 collection. They were also wearing matching face masks by The Vampire’s Wife.
“They were affectionate around their friends, held hands and looked very happy,” a source told PEOPLE. “They have dated for a few weeks.”
The stylish duo recently worked together on the film Don’t Worry Darling, in which Styles stars and Wilde directed and co-stars. In Styles’ recent cover story for Vogue’s December issue, Wilde gushed over the British Style Award winner and said she “did a little victory dance” when he was officially cast in the role.
“To me, he’s very modern,” said Wilde of the Brit who famously wore a Gucci dress on the fashion magazine’s cover. “And I hope that this brand of confidence as a male that Harry has—truly devoid of any traces of toxic masculinity—is indicative of his generation and therefore the future of the world. I think he is in many ways championing that, spearheading that. It’s pretty powerful and kind of extraordinary to see someone in his position redefining what it can mean to be a man with confidence.”
The outing comes just two months after Wilde and her longtime partner, actor and screenwriter Jason Sudeikis, announced that they had separated at the beginning of the year. The former couple became engaged in January 2013 and share two children: a son, Otis, 7 and a daughter, Daisy, 4.
Styles has previously dated the late television presenter, Caroline Flack, French-American model, Camille Rowe, and musician, Taylor Swift.
