Sarah Jessica Parker has been seen hitting the streets of New York City filming the second season of the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That, wearing looks that are already garnering lots of buzz. This week, she was spotted in another fashion favorite — Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic Vivienne Westwood wedding dress.
On Thursday afternoon, the star was photographed on the stairs of her character’s beloved apartment, wearing what looks to be the same wedding dress that she wore for her first ceremony to Mr. Big in the franchise’s first movie in 2008. Of course, if you remember correctly, before they could tie the knot, Big ended up getting cold feet and stood her up.
The ivory corseted gown was from the British fashion house’s Fall 2007 collection and features a tiered skirt and a pointed bust. In the first movie, Carrie teamed her bridal look with an interesting hair accessory. (Anyone remember the line, “I put a bird on my head.“)?
For the updated version for And Just Like That season 2, Bradshaw was seen teaming the gown with teal gloves that extended into a cascading off-the-shoulder cape and matching pumps. She swapped out her long wedding veil for an elegant birdcage style veil with a teal feather pinned on one side.

There was the Carrie’s Single & Fabulous? poncho, there was the Heidi dress, and who could forget the fan favorite with the return of the Versace Mille Feuille tiered gown.
“That’s a really good one too because it was sort a miracle that it arrived,” Parker told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live of the opulent gown. “It wasn’t going to arrive, and then it was somewhere else, and then it was stuck, and they couldn’t get it out, and it was August, and everyone closes down in August, and then we weren’t going to have it. I mean, there was just such suspense around that dress. I was like, ‘I’ll never get back in it. How am I going to slithering back into that thing again?’”
