Did Lily Collins — who plays Emily Cooper in Netflix’s hit series Emily in Paris — just confirm that season 3 is happening?
The 32-year-old took to Instagram to post a photo of herself from her Vogue photoshoot. “Season 3 pivot?? Who’s with me?…” she wrote, referring to Emily moving to Berlin.
Collins’ costars were all for a location change-up. Ashley Park, who plays Mindy Chen, wrote, “Très willing to check Berlin off bucket list plz,” while Samuel Arnold, who plays Julian, added, “Me always.”
The official Instagram page for the series quipped, “Girl I’m going wherever you are.”
Fans also were curious if the actress knew that season 3 is coming.
“We will get season 3???” one fan asked, while another said, “We want Season 3 ASAP!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍.”
“I already watched season 2 and now I’m ready for another season 🙏🏻😂❤️,” a third user exclaimed.
In the season finale, Emily finds herself at a crossroads — will she stay in the City of Light longer since Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) offered her a new job? She also professed her love to chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), but it seems like he is moving on with Camille (Camille Razat). So, will she give Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) a shot?
It’s unclear when and if Netflix will announce the season 3 renewal, but Collins has a lot of ideas she hopes will pan out in the future.
“I hope viewers find more of themselves in different characters, and feel seen and represented in the show,” the actress told Glamour. “And I hope that we get a season 3 because I really hope we get to come back and do this again.”
“Selfishly, I just hope that we get to go visit another city again,” Park quipped. “That was such a blast getting to shoot in St. Tropez for two weeks. I think that’s always really fun.”
Regardless of what happens, the brunette beauty knows that an upcoming season will be “filled with drama, fashion and a lot of fun and romance.”
