It all started when Lizzo drunkenly slid into Chris Evans Instagram DMs. The “Good As Hell” artist was seemingly shooting her shot with the actor that instead, sparked a social media-fuelled friendship. Now the duo are up to their old shenanigans, playing along with a rumor that Lizzo is pregnant.
In response to a fan on TikTok last week, Lizzo published a video to the platform jokingly saying (we think), “This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private between me and the father of my child, but since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in. We’re gonna have a little America.”

Evans responded days later. He sent a DM to the pop star reading, “Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy. My mother will be so happy lol.” He added, “(Just promise me no gender reveal parties lol).”
Naturally Lizzo screenshot the message and returned to TikTok to share the news with her 17 million followers.

Evans was rumoured to be dating Lily James in June 2020 before she was spotted in a loved-up relationship with Michael Shuman earlier this year. Fans are convinced he is secretly seeing someone else nowadays but considering the actor and his partner in social media crime can’t stop flirting with each other, can they start dating already?!
