For weeks we have been following and documenting Margot Robbie‘s looks as she embarked on a press tour for the release of The Suicide Squad. There was the fiery red blazer in a nod to her DC character Harley Quinn, an appearance in cult Australian label Anna Quan and a buttery all-white ensemble courtesy of Nanushka. Of course her stylist, Kate Young, left for the best for last as Robbie stepped onto the premiere red carpet in Los Angeles overnight.

As a global ambassador for Chanel, Robbie is no stranger to red carpet elegance. Pulled from the Resort 2022 runway her look was slightly pared down for the day time affair. In the blistering LA heat the Australian actress wore a bandage-style halterneck top encrusted with Chanel pendants, white tapered pants and strappy heels.

In what will surely be plastered onto every beauty mood board heading into summer, Robbie’s makeup was fresh and glowy while she opted for sleek waves. If you want to replicate her flawless complexion, this GRAZIA editor might have the product for you.

The premiere which was held at the Regency Village Theatre follows a number of film openings which could be considered some of the first in the US since cinemas were forced to close its doors in wake of the pandemic. Red carpets are alive and well!

Robbie will reprise her role as Harley Quinn in James Gunn’s latest film. Speaking to British Vogue recently, the actress spoke about the significance of the role in the action genre.

“Those scenes … where everything’s exploding around you, and you make it just in time, those massive epic war hero runs? Those movie moments? Girls never get those. Girls never get those,” she said.

Other stars in attendance on Tuesday included Taika Waititi and Rita Ora (they’re still together!!), co-star John Cena who opted for his ‘Peacemaker’ film costume over a tux and model Kelly Gale.
