Model Bella Hadid is known for championing charitable causes, but her latest collaboration with Chrome Hearts sees her combine her love for doing good with her innate ability to ignite and revive fashion trends on a dime.

As a style tastemaker, Hadid tends to favor a 90s or early 00s aesthetic, with her recent sartorial moments running the gamut from leather vests to North Face fleeces. Now she’s turned her hand – literally – to tie-dye, creating a range of t-shirts for the Los Angeles label in benefit of Feeding America.

The limited edition range of long- and short-sleeve t-shirts, which drops tomorrow, features just 49 pieces. The Chrome Hearts x Bella collaboration includes two styles, the Classic Tee and the Baby Tee – a cropped cut that’s become synonymous with Hadid’s own wardrobe.

“Can’t believe this is finally happening… Had an idea 8 months ago and I can’t wait to share it with you,” Hadid wrote on Instagram, adding that the range was “all made by me.”

According to Chrome Hearts, 100 percent of the proceeds from the t-shirts will go to the charity. Feeding America is a cause close to Hadid’s heart, having previously designed a range in support of the organization back in July. The US nonprofit aims to end hunger by providing meals for more than 46 million people across the country.

Hadid’s new take on tie-dye could explain the recent resurgence in tie-dye among her Hollywood contemporaries. While the popular print has been a fashion mainstay in recent seasons, we weren’t seeing it as frequently as we might have a year ago. That is, until Hadid and a number of celebs – including stylish mama-to-be Emily Ratajkowski – began championing it with fervor once again.

The Chrome Hearts x Bella range goes on sale tomorrow at 9AM PST (1AM AEST).
