Most recently, leather is making a comeback in the form of the cool and casual vest thanks to Bella Hadid.
Following Joe Biden’s presidential victory, on Sunday, November 8, the 24-year-old supermodel was out and about in L.A. with vintage shopping and what appears to be grilled cheese. She posted a series of videos and images to her Instagram feed from the day, and in the accompanying caption, she wrote, “The energy shifted a bit today,” with a blue heart emoji. Leading up to the election, the Washington, D.C. native used her platform to encourage her 35 million Instagram followers to vote. She was also among the many who voiced her anxiety leading up to the historical verdict. But she was also among those who celebrated the win.
For the day on the town, she wore oversized and distressed, low-rise blue jeans accessorised with a brown belt that matched her leather vest. Underneath the statement piece, she wore a white shirt dress that she wore open to reveal a teeny-tiny matching crop top. Keeping with her love for leather, she wore a cognac handbag that she dressed up with a scarf. Fuelling the 90s-inspired moment, the model donned skinny glasses with brown frames, which she teamed with layered puka shell necklaces, dangly earrings, and rings.
