The supermodels of the moment are to thank for many an impractical trend. From exposed G-strings to tie-dye on tie-dye, Hailey Bieber, Bella and Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner could make almost anything look good. But, adapting to the current pandemic-laden climate, the trends the women are currently endorsing are far more wearable, comfortable and accessible than usual.
Case in point, the green North Face fleeces that both Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber have been photographed wearing in the past couple of weeks, which is part of MM6 Maison Margiela’s collaboration with The North Face.
First, Hadid posted a photo of herself to encourage her fans to vote in 2020 US presidential election, wearing the vest over a long sleeve black polo tee and black utility trousers with a belt while posing on a fire escape in NYC. The 24-year-old model wore her hair in pigtails and held the vest open to show her voting sticker.
A couple of days ago, 23-year-old Bieber shared photos wearing the exact same fleece, using the toggles to make it sit even more cropped, exposing her stomach. Similar to Hadid, Bieber wore a long-sleeve black top underneath and utility trousers – this time leather. Bieber also wore white New Balance trainers and a cream beanie.
Wearing black baggy pants and a cute vest this winter sounds like perfection. While the Margiela version will set you back almost $500, there are a bunch of other cute alternatives available, and we’d say far more incoming after this double batch of supermodel approval.
