The 2022 Venice Film Festival has officially commenced, and it’s delivering all the glitz, glam and couture looks we’ve come to expect from the star-studded event. Evoking the opulence of Old Hollywood, cinema’s most beloved performers and auteurs gather in the Italian city to celebrate the year’s most anticipated films.

The first official day of festival kicked off with the premiere of Noah Baumbach’s White Noise, starring Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Don Cheadle.

The 79th annual Venice Film Festival will take place from August 31 to September 10, and debut a robust roster of award-worthy films. The psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling will be premiering, along with Julia Roberts and George Clooney’s rom-com Ticket to Paradise, also showing is director Luca Guadagnino’s Bones and All starring Timothée Chalamet, and the  Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde starring Ana de Armas.

The Colombian-born French designer (and longtime collaborator of Chalamet’s) created a metallic red ensemble featuring a sleeveless (and backless) halter top with loosely tied scarf and matching trousers, worn with black Chelsea boots.
