The fashion and luxury lifestyle website 3oud.com has just announced the launch of OUD Fashion Talks, their first-ever fashion conference in Kuwait. 3oud.com has dedicated its website to empowering women in Kuwait and the Middle East through the common interest of fashion and luxury. Now, the website felt it was time to bring this passion to reality by creating a new Kuwaiti fashion conference.
The new fashion conference consists of a series of panels with the goal to bring together local creatives from the luxury and fashion world in Kuwait. The topics that will take place at this conference pertain to the growth of sustainable fashion, they will also highlight the current challenges in the fashion and creative industry that are faced within the region to this day.
The guest speakers that will be featured on the OUD Fashion Talks first panel consist of renowned names in the industry including Founder and Chief Executive of The Business of Fashion (BoF) Imran Amed, moderator Louise Nichol, CEO of the Elie Saab Group Elie Saab Jr., Fashion Entrepreneur Najla Maatouk, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Alothman and Tabiat General Trading Co. Rachad Tabiat, and Chief Sustainability Officer of the Chalhoub Group Florence Bulte.
The OUD Fashion Talks conference will host its first edition of a series of panels on the 1st of June of this year at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Cultural Centre beginning at 9 am.
