The granddaughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed bin Hamad Al Nahyan wed His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan over the weekend.
The union of the newly married couple, which took place at Al Mushrif Palace, was confirmed by Arabian Royal Agency earlier this week.
As the granddaughter to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, Sheikha Hessa’s wedding was undoubtedly a lavish occasion. With nine beloved grandchildren, Sheikha Hessa is one of three granddaughters that His Highness has raised.
As for the groom, Sheikh Zayed is son to His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan. A notable figure in the UAE, Sheikh Sultan is Chairman to the Board of Directors of Frontline Heroes Office. Established in the height of the pandemic by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the organisation works to support frontline healthcare workers.
High in spirits, the unquestionably stunning wedding took place in Abu Dhabi. Held in the astounding Al Mushrif Palace, the back drop to the royal wedding was nothing short of a vision.
