While the phrase “celebrities, they’re just like us” may be least applicable to the members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, Kim Kardashian has proven that A-listers themselves aren’t immune to having their celebrity crush.
During an appearance on Hailey Bieber’s YouTube series Who’s In My Bathroom, which is a talk show-esque video show where Bieber chats and makes food with celebrity guests from her lavish bathroom, the recently-single reality star and entrepreneur opened up about her dating life.
The mother-of-four—who broke up with her ex-boyfriend, comedian-turned-actor Pete Davidson, in August of 2022—has candidly shared updates on her dating endeavours in new episodes of The Kardashians however, she hadn’t confirmed that someone romantically piqued her interest until now.
When asked by Bieber during a game segment called “Truth or Shot”, the 42-year-old responded that she “almost want[s] to take a drink” when asked by Bieber whether she had a celebrity crush. Her reasoning? “I kinda want it to come true.”
We see Kardashian is taking the ‘manifest the crush’ into existence approach to dating, which we can’t help but appreciate given that the Skims founder has been quite the pragmatist regarding her previous relationships. Kardashian eventually chose to take a shot of her sister Kendall Jenner’s 818 Reserve tequila instead of revealing the mystery suitor. Bieber did offer Kardashian the platform to “shoot her shot” by naming her current celebrity crush, however, the star shut down the conversation completely by saying she’s “more into privacy these days”.
Clearly, keeping secrets is the current mode within the Kardashian-Jenner sphere, with Kendall also revealing in an interview that she plans on keeping her relationships private. “I’m trying to find the balance of keeping things private and keeping things sacred, [and] also not letting the unfortunate frustration and stress of everyone trying to get in on it stop me from enjoying my side,” the spirit mogul and reality star explained.
