Kendall Jenner has finally revealed her latest venture – a new alcohol brand, dubbed 818, that will begin by selling tequila. It’s long been rumoured that the supermodel was creating her own range of tequila, but Jenner finally confirmed the news by posting to her Instagram account.

“For almost 4 years I’ve been on a journey to create the best tasting tequila. After dozens of blind taste tests, trips to our distillery, entering into world tasting competitions anonymously and WINNING… 3.5 years later I think we’ve done it!” Jenner wrote. “This is all we’ve been drinking for the last year and I can’t wait for everyone else to get their hands on this to enjoy it as much as we do! @drink818 coming soon.”

A series of video and photos accompanied the post, showing Jenner and her friends – including sister Kylie Jenner, Fai Khadra and Harry Hudson – enjoying the tequila. It also showed a number of awards that the tequila had won ahead of its launch.

The name is symbolic to the 25-year-old, as 818 is the area code for the Los Angeles San Fernando Valley, which is where Jenner grew up in the now-infamous municipality of Calabasas. Her celebrity family and friends were quick to congratulate the star on the launch, with many having already tried the tipple.

“KENDALL!!!!! yes!!! i’ve seen all the hard work and LOVE you’ve put into 818!!! and u did it .. the best tequila !!! proud of u,” sister Kylie wrote on Jenner’s Instagram post announcing the brand, while older sister and GRAZIA cover star Kim Kardashian also declared her love for the tequila. “So proud of you! I wasn’t a drinker until I tried 818. Tequila shots all day!!!”

And of course, the mogul herself Kris Jenner also had some encouraging words for her entrepreneurial daughter. “Kenny! I am so so proud of you and the years of work and love you’ve put in to @drink818!!”

Jenner said her 818 tequila is “coming soon”, but we’re hopeful it arrives just in time to pour one out for what’s said to be Kimye’s impending divorce.
