Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori have made a surprise appearance at an exclusive fashion event in Dubai.
The couple attended an A-list dinner, hosted in partnership with Ounass, to celebrate the launch of the first-ever Amina Muaddi pop-up in the Middle East.
The fashion designer herself hosted the event in Dubai, where West and Censori were guests of honour. Other notable stars also in attendance were American singer Ty Dolla $ign and Lebanese actress Nadine Nassib Njeim.
The exclusive Amina Muaddi pop-up store will launch this weekend on December 1, 2023 at Kite Beach, Jumeirah.
Muaddi’s pieces have been increasingly popular over the last few years, catapulting the Jordanian-Romanian designer to fashion stardom. A-listers including Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber and more have all been photographed wearing her signature designs. Muaddi even had a limited edition footwear release in 2020 with Rihanna’s FENTY fashion line, before LVMH announced its closure in 2021.
As for West and his wife, the pair appear to have put the reports they were “on a break” to rest. Earlier this month, sources reportedly told the Daily Mail and US Sun the couple had separated. However, the couple put these reports to bed after appearing publicly together at the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix over the weekend, and now in Dubai at the Amina Muaddi X Ounass dinner.
West and Censori reportedly tied the knot earlier this year, in a private ceremony in Beverly Hills. However, there have been reports that the ceremony had “no legal standing”, as a marriage license was not obtained. Just two months prior in November 2022, his divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalised.
The pair met after Censori, 28, began working for West’s fashion brand Yeezy in 2020 after graduating from university in Australia, where she is from. She currently holds the position of Head of Architecture at his multi-mllion dollar company and also has her own brand – a jewellery brand called Nylons.
Meanwhile, West has been on an extended tour of the GCC in recent weeks. He was spotted in Dubai at the beginning of November with his eldest daughter, North West, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim, at The Dubai Mall.
West, 45, has also been seen at the new popular hotspot, Nobu by the Beach, located at the Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai. The rapper posed for photos with Nobu’s founder himself, Nobu Matsuhisa.
The “Donda” singer has also been enjoying some time in Saudi Arabia, namely AlUla, where he was reportedly working on some new music.
