Kanye West has recently made his way to Dubai, first stopping in AlUla, Saudi Arabia with speculations that he was working on a new album.

The musician and rapper has been spotted out and about in the emirate at one of the hottest new hotels and restaurants.

Enter Nobu By The Beach, the first one to open in the world, and we’re sure the visit didn’t disappoint Ye, particularly as he was personally greeted by none other than Nobu Matsuhisa.

The chef and Nobu founder shared photos of his encounter with Kanye on Instagram, revealing that West was not wearing shoes since he had handed Matsuhisa his own.

“The reason he was barefoot was because he gave me a pair of shoes of his design that he wore,” he captioned the post.

The pair jovially posed for photos together in the stunning new venue, which opened earlier this year.

Nobu by the Beach is actually a first-of-its-kind Nobu experience.

First opening its doors in January 2023 as part of the Atlantis The Royal’s launch-weekend extravaganza, Nobu by the Beach is an ultra-luxury experiential establishment that seamlessly fuses modern luxury with minimalistic Japanese traditions, creating an unrivalled pool and beach club.

The venue is located against the stunning backdrop of Palm Jumeirah and Dubai’s skyline and draws architectural inspiration from Japanese elements and the allure of the oceanfront.
