As lockdown orders begin to slowly lift across the globe, companies are more than ready to open their doors, and Giorgio Armani is one of many.

The luxury fashion house initially postponed its 10th anniversary of the Armani hotels due to the coronavirus outbreak. The event was set to occur in Dubai and Milan in November 2020 but has officially announced that the event will be rescheduled for October 26, 2021.

By many accounts, the masses are longing to step outdoors and attend an in-person event rather than through a screen, making brands eager now more than ever to plan live events. Expo 2020 was another significant region event that was postponed due to coronavirus regulations and now will coincide with Armani’s event, as the event will kick start on October 1st and run until March 31st, 2022.

The fashion house will be hosting a fashion show to celebrate its anniversary at the Armani Hotels in Milan and Dubai. The event will mark a new step of the One Night Only event, which has touched some of the most influential cities in the world from London in 2006 to Tokyo in 2007, Beijing in 2012, Rome, New York in 2013 and Paris in 2014.

Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani reveals, ‘I am very happy to return to Dubai after 11 years with one of my itinerant One Night Only: an event that was cancelled due to the health emergency and that will coincide with Expo 2020. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 10th anniversary of my Armani Hotels.’
