Most football fans were convinced Cristiano Ronaldo ‘s move to Al-Nassr FC last year indicated that it was the end of his long career in the game. However, to the surprise of some, the Portuguese football player is thriving in the country, scoring 12 goals in 15 official matches in the Saudi Premier League so far. But it is not only in football that the star has been preoccupied by, Cristiano also seems to be enjoying all the indulgences offered by the Kingdom. His recent visit to the Diriyah is proof of how accommodating Saudi has been, and how much Cristiano is embracing the diverse experiences of the nation.

Diriyah, the first Saudi state founded in the 15th century is enriched with the country’s history as each infrastructure has its own story to tell. Visiting the premium dining hotspot Bujairi Terrace situated in the historical and cultural site At-Turaif, Ronaldo was seen promoting his newly launched fine-dining restaurant Tatel Riyadh on his socials.

Cristiano Ronaldo ‘s move to Al Nassr has been proving to be more promising than initially expected. Along with his partner Georgina Rodriguez, their children and his mother, Ronaldo has shared numerous moments of his family enjoying the city resulting in boosting tourism to 2000% according to Marca. Although he rejected the €6 million per year deal to be the face of Saudi Arabia’s tourism campaign, the mere presence of the player has been proven beneficial to the Kingdom’s sporting ambitions.
