For a moment, we thought the pandemic would bring the highly anticipated fashion shows from our favourite designers to a halt this fashion month. Luckily, Paris has gotten the green light and gone ahead with Paris Couture Week 2022. With the news of the death of the late Thierry Mugler still hanging in the air, Schiaparelli’s Spring/Summer 2022 show reminded us of the beauty that unrestricted creativity has in fashion. And in the front row of this week’s most memorable shows, such as Virgil Abloh’s last menswear collection for Louis Vuitton and Dior’s Summer/Spring 2022 show, sat some of the best-dressed celebrities.

Karen Wazen
Karen Wazen watched the Dior Summer/Spring 2022 show dressed head to toe in the French fashion house. In a white blouse decorated with a leather cutout corset, paired with a beige mini skirt and sheep wool jacket. Wazen’s outfit follows the current revival of Y2K and Gossip Girl trends, such as the iconic Blair Waldorf headband.
Pharell, Ye, Tyler The Creator
Pharell and Kayne (Ye) have made multiple headlines this week: Kayne for his recreation of Britney and Justin Timberlake’s VMA denim matching outfits with Julia Fox. Pharell, on the other hand, has made headlines for his recent Tiffany & Co collaboration. His custom sunglasses have caught social media attention as they resemble 17th-century Mughal glasses. Fashion watchdog Diet Prada called out the brand and Pharell on their lack of accreditation and choice of the words “custom-designed”.
Julia fox
Julia Fox joined new beau Kayne at yesterday’s Schiaparelli Spring/Summer 2022 fashion show, both wearing custom outfits by the fashion house. Fox donned a glossy calfskin coat dress with a bustier bodice and thigh-high boots in black leather. She paired the look with Schiaparelli’s signature Padlock bag in gilded brass. She also let the world in on some insider information: Kayne is the world’s best makeup artist.
Amina Muaddi
The Jordanian-Romanian designer chose to wear a meaningful ensemble to the late French fashion house director Virgil Abloh‘s last show. She wore a black hooded jacket with neon green and white panels, zip-up face covering, and a ruffled black skirt underneath.

Daughter of Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, Stella Bendaras had all eyes on her at the Dior Couture show. In Dior from head to toe, Stella was seen in a crisp bright red tailored blazer and skirt, a Medium Lady Dior bag, and J’adior heels.
Lucien Laviscount
Emily In Paris heartthrob Lucien Laviscount was seen at the Dior Homme Paris Fashion Week show this week. Laviscount turned heads in a monochrome ensemble, combining an oversized silk unbuttoned blouse with black pants. The actor even posed for a picture alongside French-Algerian filmmaker Farida Khelfa.
