You can’t deny that Kanye West is a man of many trades which included but is not limited to rapper, designer, stylist and politician (kind of). Now it seems he might have the steady hands of a makeup artist if Julia Fox has any say in the matter. The couple (ahem, muses) attended Paris Haute Couture overnight to a frenzied reception.
First it began with matching double denim looks, vampy Rick Owens styles – plus what looks to be Kim Kardashian’s silver boots – and matching leather Schiaparelli ensembles. Throughout the day Fox up-kept a slicked-back ‘do and bold smudged black eyeliner. While the initial mastermind behind the look was celebrity makeup artist for Pat McGrath Labs, Daniel Kolaric, West had his own attempt at the tricky design.
On Instagram stories the Uncut Gems actress shared a snap of West touching up the look. “Wanna know who my fave makeup artist is?”, Fox wrote alongside the photograph. Love or hate the man but he seems to be doing an ok job.
West and Fox have been very publicly dating (?) since early January despite the fact the rapper is still hung up on getting Kim Kardashian back (the reality star couldn’t care less about the relationship).
Fox responded to claims last week that she’s only dating West for clout or money during an episode of her own podcast, Forbidden Fruits. “People are like ‘Oh, you’re only in it for the fame, you’re in it for the clout, you’re in it for the money.’ Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my entire adult life, let’s keep it real.”
Whether it is a PR stunt or in fact the “L” word, we’re very happy to lean into all the hysterics and fashion of these two in the interim. Stay tuned.
