After an arduous Lyme Disease flare, a condition the supermodel has grappled with since her 2014 diagnosis but recently debilitated her completely, the 25-year-old is taking some much-needed R&R.
Hadid has recently documented her struggles with the illness, sharing on social media the “invisible suffering” she’s endured over the past year resulting in her stepping back from modelling altogether. Thankfully, Hadid is “finally healthy”, and it seems she’s savouring every moment of her newfound strength with a blissful holiday in the sun.
In images shared on social media, Hadid could be seen vacationing at Cayman Island’s exclusive five-star resort, Palm Heights. Sun-drenched and sun-kissed, Hadid was joined by Dior Beauty’s International PR and Special Projects manager (and all-around French ‘It’ girl) Fanny Bourdette-Donon.
In a carousel posted to Bourdette-Donon’s curated Instagram account, Hadid could be seen soaking in the Caribbean locale, including lounging in the soft-as-butter sand and swimming in the azure ocean.
