First there was Gigi Hadid the model, then there was Bella Hadid the model. Could there be a third Hadid sister about to take the fashion world by storm? It seems so.
The elder sibling of the supermodel Hadid sisters, Alana Hadid, recently made her catwalk debut at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
The 40-year-old opened the show for Danish fashion brand Saks Potts and, despite the rain, Alana took the runway by storm (pun not intended).

On Instagram, Alana said of the experience: “Core memory made in Denmark with Saks Potts. My first runway!”
Proud father Mohamed Hadid was sitting front row to support his daughter. “Another super star coming up in the Hadid modeling dynasty,” he said on Instagram “Congratulations to you and your team… the walk was masterful. Calm and steady.”
Alana, who is the elder half-sister of Gigi and Bella, wore a mixture of eclectic pieces from the Copenhagen-based brand including a macramé bra and cropped jacket on top, with jeans, a blue sequined skirt and flip flops on the bottom.
Walking the runway isn’t Alana’s first foray into fashion. In fact, she has her own brand, La Detresse, which she co-founded back in 2017 with Emily Perlstein. Alana has also previously worked as a personal shopper and stylist.

Alana’s recent catwalk appearance comes days after her younger sister Bella took to social media to share an update on her health and her struggle with Lyme disease. The 26-year-old model revealed she had been going through an intense 100+ day treatment for the “15 years of invisible suffering” she has endured.
“The universe works in the most painful and beautiful ways, but I need to say that if you are struggling—it will get better. I promise,” she said of her experience. “Take a step away, stay strong, have faith in your path, and walk in your truth, and the clouds will start to clear up.”
Bella added she would be “back when I’m ready”.
So, perhaps we can gear up for a Hadid sister takeover in the fashion months to come.
