Oh to have supermodel genes. Kate Moss‘ daughter, Lila Grace, has literally walked in the footsteps of her mother to go on and appear on the runway for Fendi and Miu Miu as well as feature in campaigns for Marc Jacobs Fragrance and on the covers of prestigious publications. So really, it doesn’t come as any surprise that the young model is borrowing a few archived style cues too.
The 18-year-old was spotted in Ibiza at the weekend (seriously, is everyone on vacation but us?!) wearing a blush pink slip dress. The summery look was paired with black sandals and a patent black shoulder bag. It’s the perfect nod to ’90s style but also forced us to do a double take as she is the spitting image of Moss from the same era.
The supermodel of course has a penchant for a silky slip dress and considering the similarities in age and current trends, it’s no wonder they look alike. Remember that incredible sheer gown the then 19-year-old wore from the 1993 Elite Models event? Moss also attended a dinner party for photographer Richard Avedon in a similar blush dress the same year.
Moss returned to her own modelling roots in July when she appeared in a Skims campaign for close friend Kim Kardashian. It’s reminiscent to her 1990 Calvin Klein photoshoot which ultimately catapulted her to worldwide stardom.
Lila Grace Moss and her mother are not the only lookalike supermodel mother-daughter duo. Heidi Klum and her daughter Leni Klum appeared on the red carpet in Italy last week almost looking like twins. We’re already aware of the Kaia Gerber’s uncanny appearance to a ’90s Cindy Crawford while we can already see Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady’s eight-year-old daughter on the cover of magazines in a decade.
