British it-girl Iris Law shocked followers last year when she swapped her long brunette locks for a platinum blonde buzz cut. At the time she recalled the experience as “liberating” and the quirky look has since become signature for the model. In an exclusive interview with GRAZIA this week, Law has echoed this notion describing her personal style as “eclectic and free” which was inspired by her home in the UK.

“I feel UK style is a culmination of so much which has influenced me to be eclectic and free. I love the UK punk history as well as the beautiful vintage [fashion] that is available,” the actress says. Law has been announced as the newest campaign ambassador to Italian footwear brand Superga and walks (quite literally) in the footsteps of past collaborators Hailey Bieber and Emily Ratajkowski.

The Autumn/Winter 2022 campaign was photographed by Lea Colombo at The National Tennis Association on the world class tennis courts in a nod to the brand’s sporting heritage. While you may not see Law swinging a tennis racket quite like the greats, she noted she loves the “contradiction my personal style bought to the campaign’s direction”.

While the 21-year-old distinctly remembers wearing the black Superga wedges at 13, her favourite style from the forthcoming collection is the 2750 Cotu Classic. “They remind me of being holiday,” she adds. The campaign also features the 2641 Alpina High boot, inspired by trekking boots in the 50s and new styles, 3041 Revolley Colourblock Platform and the 799 Rubber Boots Lettering.

Aside from her Superga sneakers, Law says her most treasured accessory is a Joanna Burke ring that was made specially for her to wear at the Met Gala. “I can’t stop staring at it when I wear it and I find it so beautiful that it makes me feel emotional.”
