Iris Law might just be the next Lucy Boynton – in the bold makeup department, at least. The model recently shared a few snaps of a recent trip to the beach, but instead of the bare face one would usually sport for an expedition to the ocean, Law had dialled up the sparkle for the occasion.
Law, who is the daughter of actors Jude Law and Sadie Frost, used a few choice products from Dior to create the unexpected look. The burgeoning actor donned golden glitter eyeshadow and thick lashes with rosy rouge and lustrous lipstick. And we’ve got to admit, her shimmery take on seaside beauty is making us rethink our own approach.
Law is a beauty and skincare enthusiast by her own admission, having experienced acne in recent years. “I’ve had cystic acne so the way I approach skincare has definitely evolved,” she told Dazed in a previous interview. “Seeing my skin change and having so many different doctors tell me different things, I feel that it’s best to go natural and be consistent intuitively. It’s not about having a 15-step facial routine but a select three or four steps that adjust to the seasons.”
The star also admitted that she has stripped her routine right back as a result of her skin difficulties. “I find it baffling that people with acne still struggle to find products that work with their skin and it’s practically impossible to mask it,” she told the publication. “I find the cystic acne treatments currently available too harmful and drastic, as they can cause mood swings and depression too.”
