Aylah Peterson is once again fronting a Saint Laurent campaign, which marks her third appearance for the French house. The Australian model, who has become one of the most sought-after faces across the globe, lends her relaxed edge to the latest spring/summer 2021 campaign #YSL37, and the end result is a perfect synergy between Peterson’s delicate features and creative director Anthony Vaccarello‘s sexy aesthetic.

The campaign imagery, shot by David Sims with artistic direction from Vaccarello, sees Peterson oscillate effortlessly between tough glam-rock girl and 60s ingenue, replete with soft feathery finishes and retro shades. Her signature bold fringe and straight long bob mirror the youthful yet sophisticated energy of the collection – which goes a long way in explaining her ongoing relationship as muse to the house.

Of course, she isn’t alone in showcasing the looks. Actor Justice Smith is representing Saint Laurent’s spring/summer 2021 mens collection in the campaign. Smith, a rising star who is known for his respective roles in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, The Get Down and Paper Towns, has a number of new projects in the works, including a return to the Jurassic World trilogy with the next instalment, Dominion.

Peterson and Smith join an impressive roster of established ambassadors for the brand, including BlackPink’s Rosé Park, perennial dream girl Zoë Kravitz, and supermodels Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.

Ever innovative, Saint Laurent were quick to pivot amid the social distancing requirements of the coronavirus pandemic. The luxury house was the first major fashion player to pull the plug on Paris Fashion Week, instead opting for a virtual show with star-studded digital front row. The likes of Kaia Gerber, Hailey Bieber, and Lily Collins all wore looks from the show, which gave us all a much-needed moodboard for the holiday break.
