When you think of Lily Collins, images of berets, hot pink blazers and OTT tartan suits pop to mind, but in-real-life the actress’ wardrobe would put her Emily in Paris character’s to shame.

At last night’s MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time Special, Collins arrived on the red carpet wearing a skintight PVC Saint Laurent dress, featuring a sweetheart neckline, thick spaghetti straps, and a ruffled hem. She paired the dress with matching Saint Laurent patent pointed-toe heels and wore her hair pulled back into a sleek low ponytail.

Instead of the usual bright and bold look we’ve seen her in on our recent Netflix binge, Collins opted for neutral makeup, a matte lip, and bronzed eyes. Basically, she’s the complete opposite of Emily – and, let’s be honest: we’re very much here for it.

Debuted on the runway in February for Anthony Vaccarello’s autumn/winter 2020 collection for YSL, the dress was at the time one of the show’s standout pieces. On Collins, it looks even better than on the runway and, despite the piece almost sold out online – you can still get it for $3862 on Net-A-Porter – there are a bunch of alternative options, which would be the perfect fit for NYE (or just this weekend, let’s be honest).
