If you haven’t been watching Euphoria, then walk, don’t run. Season 2 of HBO Max‘s hit series has been filled with lots of ups and downs, and unfortunately, the episodes will wrap in a short amount of time.

So, when will the season 2 finale be released? On Sunday, February 20, episode 7 will air, which is called “The Theater and It’s Double,” and on Sunday, February 27, episode 8, a.k.a. the last episode of season 2, will be released, and it’s called “All My Life, My Heart Has Yearned for a Thing I Cannot Name.”

This season has showed Rue (Zendaya) in a bad place. After relapsing again, she is using drugs, and Elliott (Dominic Fike) is the only one that knows. However, in episode 5, he blows up her cover and tells Jules (Hunter Schafer) that she hasn’t been sober for quite some time.

Then, Rue’s mother (Nika King) tries to have an intervention with her eldest daughter and drives her to the emergency room. However, Rue escapes and finds herself in a lot of trouble — first, she runs to Lexi’s (Maude Apatow) house, where she divulges that Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) has been hooking up with Maddy’s ex boyfriend Nate (Jacob Elordi) for quite some time. Then, she heads to Laurie’s (Martha Kelly) home, where she is injected with morphine.

Despite Rue’s mistakes, it looks like she may have turned a corner. “The ending of the season was going to be very different, and then halfway through, Sam [Levinson] and I were like, ‘We just can’t leave Rue here. We gotta put some f**king hope in this show.’ By episode six, Rue is starting to stitch her life back together,” the actress revealed.

“Episode eight is where we’ll get that sense of redemption,” the Hollywood star added. “That you aren’t the worst thing you’ve ever done in your life. I think Rue deserves it, and I think anyone who suffers with the same thing she does deserves it.”

Since the show can be dark, Zendaya admitted that she can usually “shake off” what her character is going through. “But there are days where you’re just in it, and even if your brain knows it’s not real, your body takes on this anxiousness and anger,” she said.

Euphoria airs on HBO Max on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
