As soon as lockdown orders were first issued early last March, the thrill of dressing up was quickly replaced with a desire for comfort above all else. Eleven months on, just as many of us were getting ready to abandon sweatsuits once and for all, Victor Glemaud unveils his Fall 2021 collection—and with it a whole new range of soft, stylish woven sets designed to elevate our life-at-home uniforms.

Reimagining the vast potential of knitwear, Glemaud dreamed up rust-colored cable knit polo dresses, slinky cotton cashmere complete with lower-back cutouts, and knee-grazing pin-striped cardigans worn over matching midi skirts. (Extra points for keeping your midriff tastefully exposed). A clingy off-the-shoulder top and pants duo that draws its acidic lemon hue from that of New York City taxis, will surely be a bright spot in any Zoom room.

Collaborating with the Nigerian brand Shekudo, Glemaud even updated the frumpy clog with two need-it-now styles made from remnant leather, suede, and Aso Oke, a fabric crafted according to a 600-year-old West African weaving tradition. Consider it proof that cozy need not mean boring, after all.
