If any Sydney Sweeney fans were wondering what her secret was for that sun-kissed, back-from-the-beach glow she’s perfected, she’s finally sharing.
She posted the coordinating campaign video, where she posed on the beach wearing a sky-blue string bikini and an unbuttoned linen shirt, with the coconut water-infused moisturizing tanner in her beach bag, of course.
The actress said collaborating with the brand on the self-tanner has been “an absolute dream.” Writing, “this is legit my secret for sun-kissed skin without worrying about exposure to harmful UV rays.”
In addition to the water tanning mouse (Sweeney says she uses the medium shade), the SOL by Jergens lineup of products consists of drop serums, sunless tanning towelettes, body bronzers, and a handy tanning applicator mitt.
In working with the brand, Sweeney joins her Euphoria costar, Maude Apatow, who appeared in a few commercials for Jergens Natural Glow alongside mom, actress Leslie Mann, who’s been a spokesperson for the company for years.
The campaign launch comes days after Jergens’ parent company Kao USA Inc. voluntarily recalled Jergens Ultra Healing products on March 11 while they continue to investigate. According to the corporation, there was a chance that some of the Jergens Ultra Healing Moisturizers maintained a presence of Pluralibacter gergoviae, “a bacterium which typically poses little medical risk to healthy people. However, people who have certain health problems such as weakened immune systems may be more susceptible to infections,” the statement read.
As for Sweeney, the rising star is now slated to join the cast of Marvel’s upcoming flick Madame Web alongside Dakota Johnson. She’s working on another film, National Anthem, and exciting projects at her production company Fifty-Fifty films. With her new Sol by Jergens partnership, Sweeney shows no signs of slowing down.
