Gigi and Bella Hadid are inseparable as both sisters and supermodels, but when it comes to their style, they couldn’t be more different.
As Bella has lent into vintage and thrift shopping (she’s a longtime Depop girl) and Y2K aesthetics in recent years, Gigi tends to dress more low-key and laidback (though she does pull out some show-stopping looks at night, such as her recent birthday party two-piece).
For their most recent sister day out to watch friend Serena Williams play at the US Open in New York, the pair showcased their contrasting wardrobes perfectly: Bella wearing a white zip-up Nike sports jacket, a beige knee-length cargo skirt, long white socks, brown Nike X Jaquemus Humara sneakers, a white Prada Cleo bag and black Oakley wrap-around sunglasses. Adding an additional element of prep to the look, Bella pulled her long brunette hair back with a black headband.
Gigi, meanwhile, wore a red backless jumpsuit with white sneakers, a matching red Louis Vuitton bag and circle-frame aviator sunglasses. She pulled her hair back into a sleek bun and added a simple gold necklace, as well as a gold “S” pin for Serena.
To sit courtside, the sisters brought dates. Bella, her boyfriend Marc Kalman, also looking stylish in a white printed tee (with what looks to be a young photo of Williams playing tennis as a kid printed on the front), black jeans and his trusty Doc Marten loafers, and Gigi, the sisters’ longtime friend, Leah McCarthy.
If you thought their ‘fits — and the very public arena — would stop them from tucking into treats during the match, you’d be mistaken. Gigi and Leah opted for chicken, while Bella ate a hotdog:
We love to see it.
