When it comes to embracing fashion trends across the decades, Bella Hadid is always one to embrace them. Hadid has pioneered the revival of early aughts Y2K fashion and, as of late, has been time-traveling through the decades for even more style inspiration. Last month, the model channeled the 1950s in a pair of skin-tight pants with a belt around her waist while on vacation. Now, in her latest street style outfit, it looks like Hadid has been inspired by ’60s mod fashion and ’80s activewear.

The model was seen out in sunny Los Angeles on Wednesday donning a multicolored striped mod-inspired dress paired with oval sunnies and her signature tight bun. The 25-year-old completed the look with some standout accessories, including leg warmers worn over a pair of blue heels. Leg warmers for summer? Definitely a groundbreaking style choice in the California heat, but when Bella Hadid commits to a look, she pulls out all the stops.

It’s not the first time the Kin Euphorics partner has opted for a knee-high sock moment. Last month she shared some PDA with her boyfriend, Marc Kalman, in an ultra mini denim skirt and high socks paired with Nike trainers showing off her sporty spice side.

She continued to show her affinity for an elevated sock just a few weeks ago, when she was photographed in New York City heading out to date night. This time instead of sporty footwear, she paired her typical preppy noughties outfit with a black patent shoes and finished the look off with a pair of knee-high black Nike socks.

Although there’s only a few days left of summer, this is a trend you can wear well into the fall and winter season and you can thank Bella for the inspo!
