Switching up her hairstyle just in time for spring, Selena Gomez showed off her latest cut, debuting new blunt bangs and a tousled bob on social media Thursday, captioning her Instagram post, “New hair who dis?”
The actress has been previously sporting lob-length strands lately, showing off a sleek and straight style in January during a press day and later walking the Critics Choice Awards in March with a long pony.
The fresh new ‘do was cut by pro hairstylist Orlando Pita, who commented on Gomez’s post with black heart and fire emojis. Her brow-length wispy bangs seamlessly compliment her shortened tresses that were styled in a soft wavy style. She kept the glam moment going with makeup by Hung Vanngo, who used Gomez’s beauty brand Rare Beauty products.
Gomez shared a series of TikToks before taking to Instagram yesterday, hysterically confirming her single relationship status in one post and announcing that season 2 of her hit series Only Murders in the Building will be released June 28 in another.
Starring alongside comedic legends Martin Short and Steve Martin, Gomez portrays Mabel, a young woman who lives in the same New York apartment complex as Oliver (Short) and Charles (Martin). Once a murder has been discovered in their building, the three join forces to solve the crime, forging an unlikely friendship.
With a new mystery on the horizon for the core trio, Gomez’s friend and model Cara Delevingne is joining the cast for season 2 as Alice, an insider in the art industry who offers her services in their investigation. The second season of the Hulu comedy series will drop new episodes weekly.
In one of Gomez’s TikToks, Martin toasted “to season 3,” leaving many to wonder if another is in the works. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.
