Channeling Old Hollywood with mature poise, Selena Gomez was the epitome of glamour at the 2022 SAG Awards red carpet. Her first time in attendance, the Only Murders in the Building actress donned an opulent Oscar de la Renta gown, Bulgari jewels, and Christian Louboutin pumps.
Attending alongside her Only Murders in the Building cast for their nomination as outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series, Gomez presented with co-star Martin Short on Sunday night. Gracefully adorning the black velvet column gown with enlarged puffed sleeves from co-creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia’s Oscar de la Renta Fall/Winter 2022 collection, the curated ensemble was styled by Kate Young, along with a glam team fit for the A-lister.
In a hilarious before-and-after video shared by Young, she showed a disheveled Gomez pre-glam, then revealed what her beauty pros achieved.
Appearing fresh-faced by celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo, Gomez’s slicked back bun (adorned with a bow) came courtesy of hairstylist Marissa Marino, with nails Tom Bachik. Wearing Bulgari’s lavish emerald-encrusted Serpenti necklace and a nearly 10-carat platinum-set, cushion-cut Columbian emerald ring adorning her finger, Gomez was drenched in diamonds.
Likely the first of many SAG appearances for Gomez, she’s certainly off to a grandiose start.
