Daniel Roseberry has swiftly turned Schiaparelli into one of the most buzzed about brands of fashion month (not to mention the red carpet). Spring Ready to Wear 2023 marked a move towards more accessible pieces, but one still rife with Schiap signatures: skeletons, body part embellishments, gilt detailing, strong tailoring and sumptuous fabrics.

But as far as the beauty look was concerned, the glamour was turned all the way up.

Makeup artist Fara Homidi created a series of makeup looks that celebrated decadence, pigment and all things fabulous: flawless skin, face gloss, brilliant red lips, heavy lip liner, rich nude tones and glossed, slate-gray shimmering shadow.

The hair was just as fantastic: big, glossy up-dos that twisted and snaked around, framed by golden glasses, heavy earrings and costume eyebrows. The creative direction was led by Jawara, a hair stylist/creative/beauty editor making a name for himself on the fashion week circuit, as well as his incredible editorial work (he did receive a shout out from Bella Hadid on Instagram, too).

Against the clothes (a collection described as “wearable couture”) the beauty look (also hyper-luxurious but actually wearable) was perfect.
