It was a busy wedding weekend in the USA with not one, not two, but three star-studded nuptials taking place. There was, of course, Paris Hilton’s Big Day, with the heiress walking down the aisle in an Oscar de la Renta gown in L.A., before throwing a three-day affair including a carnival on the Santa Monica Pier and a black-tie party on Saturday.
Guests at Hilton and Carter Reum’s ceremony included Nicole Richie and Kim Kardashian, who famously used to be Hilton’s assistant and stepped back into the role to fix her friend’s train in a now-viral photo.
Then there was Lauren Perez’s wedding, best friend to supermodels Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, both of whom served as bridesmaids for the beach ceremony, wearing custom made Bec and Bridge dresses for the occasion.
Later, guests, including Hailey Bieber and Devon Lee Carlson, changed into party attire with Hadid dressing herself in vintage Roberto Cavalli and Jenner opting for a controversial cut-out dress by Mônot. The skin-baring look prompted many online to question whether it’s appropriate to wear something that eye-catching on your best friend’s big day.
Last but not least, PR executive Simon Huck married Phil Riportella with a guest list including the Kardashian family, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, Tan France and Olivia Palermo.
Despite the almost ludicrous amount of celebrity wedding content from the past few days, and how good Kardashian looked in her black Rick Owens gown, Palermo may have quietly taken home the award for best-dressed wedding attendee of the weekend.
Last night, the 35-year-old shared a photo of her look to Instagram, revealing she wore a stunning floral gown by Giambattista Valli which was debuted on the runway during Paris Fashion Week in September. The 35-year-old accessorized her look with a Jimmy Choo clutch and wore her long hair pulled back into a braid.
Later for the wedding reception, Palermo changed into a sequin yellow gown with feather detailing on the cuffs, pulling her hair back into a chic bun.
